       Two parts in one: the second part is another work by Crous with a title-page dated Paris, 1636: Advis de Marie Crous aux filles exersantes l'arithmétique: sur les dixmes ou dixieme du sieur Stevin. If published separately in 1636, no copy appears to survive. Crous is credited with introducing the decimal system to France. Her work draws on the work of Simon Stevin (as her 1636 title-page notes) but introduced significant improvements to his system. Language(s): French.
